This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which users may request cancellations, returns, withdrawals, and refunds in connection with products and services provided by IDOLL Robotics Inc. ("Company"). This policy is established in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
1. Purpose
This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which users may request cancellations, returns, withdrawals, and refunds in connection with products and services provided by IDOLL Robotics Inc. ("Company"). This policy is established in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
2. Scope of Application
This Policy applies to:
- Digital services and subscriptions (IDOLL app, AI services, agents, memory features)
- Physical products (IDOLL hardware devices)
- Any paid features or upgrades offered by the Company
3. Subscription Services (Digital Products)
3.1 General Policy
Subscriptions to IDOLL services are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual). Unless otherwise required by applicable law:
- Payments are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started
- Users may cancel at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period
- No partial refunds are provided for unused time
3.2 Exceptions (Legal Requirement)
In accordance with Korean law, users may request cancellation or refund within seven (7) days of purchase if:
- The service has not been used, and
- The digital content has not been accessed or consumed
Refund eligibility may be restricted if:
- The user has already used the service
- The service has been partially consumed
- Access to digital content has been initiated
4. Hardware Products (IDOLL Devices)
4.1 Withdrawal
Users may withdraw from a purchase and request a return within seven (7) days of receiving the product, in accordance with applicable law.
However, withdrawal may not be accepted if:
- The product has been used beyond simple testing
- The product is damaged due to user fault
- The product's value has significantly decreased
- Packaging, accessories, or components are missing
- The product is customized or made-to-order
4.2 Return Process
To request a return:
- Contact the Company at legal@idoll.love within 7 days of receipt
- Provide order details and reason for return
- Follow the return instructions provided by the Company
Returned products must be:
- In original condition
- With all packaging and included components
4.3 Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to user preference (change of mind), the user is responsible for return shipping costs
- If the return is due to defect, damage, or Company error, the Company will bear the shipping cost
5. Defective or Damaged Products
If a product is defective, damaged, or incorrect upon delivery:
- The user must notify the Company within 7 days of receipt
- The Company will provide repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate
The Company may request:
- Photos or evidence of the issue
- Return of the defective product
6. Refund Processing
Once a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method
- Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution
- The Company will initiate refunds without undue delay in accordance with applicable law
7. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds may be denied where permitted by law, including but not limited to:
- Digital services that have already been used or accessed
- Subscription periods that have already started
- Products damaged due to user misuse
- Products returned in non-resellable condition
- Requests made after the applicable withdrawal period
8. Changes to This Policy
The Company may update this Refund Policy to reflect legal, operational, or service changes. Updated versions will be posted on the Service with a revised "Last Updated" date.
